FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What nutrition information is provided with the Bronze package?
We provide you with general nutrition information on what foods you should be eating based on your blood type, and then the choice is yours as to whether you follow the information given. If implemented, this of course can have a certain level of positive impact on your performance when racing.

If you don’t know what your blood type is, this can easily be solved with a quick trip to your local/family doctor.

How many hours are spent per week on strength and cardio with the Gold package?
Usually you will spend 5 to 7 hours/week in the gym and 15 to 20 hours/week on the bike. Cardio is a heavy focus, especially in the beginning because we want to help you build your engine come race season.
What is the purpose of Blood Lactate analysis?

Blood Lactate analysis is important because it measures the athletes’ anaerobic metabolism. By tracking this we can gauge progression and time training precise.

We also determine the athletes training zones based off the numbers and data. In order to perform at a high level and progress over the season, this is essential data.

Do I have to come to your location for training?
No you don’t have to. We send you your custom training package that you are instructed to work on for a set period of time at home and/or at your local gym.

We do however make sure to communicate with your daily (or as required), and come see you every 6 weeks for feedback, further testing and training.

How do I receive an initial assessment if I am not in your area?
You can send us an email through the Contact Us page and we will arrange a time when our Head Trainer is in your area for you to do an assessment.
Do you come to any practice tracks and do any training?
We do go to practice tracks with you, but only if it’s organized well in advance, or the Head Trainer happens to be coming to your area to do some training with other athletes.

When at the track, we test you on your lap times.

Do you provide any ‘on-bike’ training?
No we don’t. Our entire focus and specialization is on the metabolic and kinetic aspect of training.
How long is your training program?

Anybody that joins one of our three training packages has the option to receive a 3, 6, 9 or 12 month program.

What do you mean by “Baseline Training?”
Baseline is the initial assessment and zone that the athlete is in. It gives a base set of data to work with in developing their program.
Do you ever go down to America to do any training and at what times usually?
Yes, we do go down into America—Southern California to be more precise. Depending on both riders’ and our availability, we’re down there anytime between January and March to continue with the athletes’ program—both in the gym, on the bike and the track.
